After over a decade of experience as a podiatric surgeon, I’ve decided to focus on non-surgical solutions of the foot and ankle. I had the privilege of spending nearly half of my career in an orthopaedic setting, which provided me with invaluable exposure to a broad range of foot and ankle conditions from pediatric fractures all the way to ingrown nails. Board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, I continue to maintain my board certification status, and stay up to date on the latest procedures and literature.

My vision with NextStep Podiatry is a simple, honest, doctor-patient experience, without call centers, and layers of unnecessary obstacles getting an appointment, or in touch with the doctor. With longer appointment slots, you will not feel rushed. I have always believed in the power of positivity, and I always try to bring that to my bedside manner. My patients all have a direct line to me for texting or calling with questions or concerns. Same day appointments are often available. On site X-ray helps assist with diagnosis and decision making. I frequently implement one of my favorite non invasive regenerative treatments known as shockwave or ESWT/EPAT which can be performed during the same visit in most cases. This is an excellent alternative to cortisone injections for many conditions. I recommend custom orthotics to many of my patients where appropriate.

As a resident, I completed an extended pediatric orthopaedic rotation at the International Center for Limb Lengthening at Baltimore’s Sinai Hospital. I have always enjoyed treating children, and I have a special interest in both pediatric and adult biomechanics. As a former athlete and U.S. Marine, I know how important healthy feet are. I have always made an effort to keep up to date on the latest active and casual footwear, and nearly all of my patients will leave my office with specific footwear recommendations for active, dress, casual, and even sandals- I love sandals!
